NATIONAL HEALTHCARE NON-PROFIT ANNOUNCES NEW HEADQUARTERS IN TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA

(Sarasota, FL) CAN Community Health (CAN), a leading non-profit in premier community medical care, has announced the relocation of its national headquarters from Sarasota, Florida, to Tampa, Florida, by the Fall of 2024. Expanding upon its presence in the United States, the new headquarters will be located within the German American Club historic building in Ybor alongside its established medical clinic.

The new headquarters will house its executives, senior and mid-level management. In addition, the medical center will include services ranging from primary care, mental health, nutrition, and a dental clinic. "Since 1991, we've provided premier care through outreach, advocacy, education, and research. At CAN Community Health, excellent healthcare starts with a foundation of inclusion, compassion, and respect regardless of race, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or the ability to pay. We are excited to make Tampa Bay our new home for our headquarters. It is a pivotal move for our organization and a game changer for all our patients," President and CEO Dr. Rishi Patel stated.

Since late 2021, the vision has been to unify its national headquarters alongside one of its established medical clinics. With the recent acquisition of the Ybor (Nebraska Ave.) building and after careful consideration, the historic German American Club in Ybor is best suited for the organization's new headquarters. "Tampa Bay offers a place where our team members can easily travel in and out of all our current markets while providing an unparalleled, diverse, inclusive quality of life and favorable cost of living," says Jackie Rogers, Board Chairwoman.

"We look forward to partnering with area specialty physicians to provide key services to our clients and the community. We want our clients to experience a true medical home. Not to have to worry about traveling to various offices for appointments. Instead, patients can visit their doctors and specialists while they are on campus." adds Dr. Patel.

Following its relocation to Tampa Bay, CAN will continue to expand its roots in Sarasota, FL, and grow its mission by housing the Susan Terry Foundation within its Sarasota Medical Center off 12th and Tuttle Avenue.
